This project started on July 18, 2018. Since then has seen many different versions, been a dub, and passed around quite a bit. Sometimes things don't work out how you'd like them to. I don't think the initial idea started from anywhere dark, but I definitely took it there over the few months it took to realize a full track out of the initial idea. Lots of things happened. Well...life happened. If you dig around through the notes in my last EP "Blase Funk", you'll be able to put together the pieces I'm sure. As for the track, as it currently stands, it personifies a myriad of feelings and situations that I wish didn't take place, but at this point, I'm not mad they did.

You can't knock me down. I just become more motivated. Like the incredible hulk, the more I get hit, the stronger I get. That sounds a little corny reading it back but oh well lol.

Thank you everyone at Shogun for giving me the motivation to make this into what it is today. Seriously, it kicked me into high gear and I learned a ton in the process. Hope to work with you all in the future :)
