about

Sooooo one of the most asked questions I’ve come across is how to make a bass sound for liquid drum and bass. “Uhh how do I make a reese” - Reddit/DOA/Insertforumuserhere. It’s one of those things that seem really simple at first but nerve-wracking in practice. All the sounds in this pack come from tracks that I’ve made over the past few years. Each pack/sample has an abbreviated name of the tracks they came from. (EG = Echo Glen, SOOI = Snap Out of It, etc…)

I hope these are useful in helping you create the sound you want. Use them on their own, as layers, inspiration, whatever :) As always, let me know what you think!

Includes:
11 Multi-sampled sub-basses
4 Pitches per bass
Total: 44 x 24-bit WAVs ☜(゚ヮ゚☜)

Why Multi-Sampled?
This adds a bit more flexibility with sound. You can map them all to their respective pitches (covering gaps as needed) and have a full instrument or…. Use one sample to cover the full range your bassline. Experiment with pitching samples up and down for different characters.

For example: A sample with a root of C0 played up an octave (C1) has a completely different character compared to a sample with a root of C1 played down an octave at C0. This is why each sample has a world of its own capabilities even if it’s fundamentally the same instrument. That’s what’s so cool about audio!
