I’ve had an old drum kit in my parent's basement that’s been deteriorating and collecting dust for10 plus years. May as well sample it right? Eventually, I’ll get to the whole kit.
Recorded multiple sets of hits with different mic positions and modifiers to the drum to get an
interesting sound. “Ghost Snares” are lower velocity hits to better mimic ghost notes. Nifty huh?
It all sounds like poo anyway but at least it’s interesting with a bit of junk thrown in the mix.
Use them as-is, layer with other sounds, process to make Metrik & Wilkinson cry, idk….
